Yes, I am starting a blog once again. I noticed that I normally follow a five year cycle. I'll write on a blog for the first couple of years, posts slowly peter out, then it lays fallow for a few more. Then I get the writing bug again and decide I absolutely have to write but for whatever reason start completely over. Well this time I'm setting up much narrower parameters. I am only writing about books here on this place. I may even post bits of writing I have done when I've felt particularly creative. I guess we'll see.
This weekend I had a wonderful time with some friends of mine where we talked about books. It was so nice to remember all my old books that I've read in the past. As my friends brought up more thoughts about a particular book it felt as though we were talking about a mutual friend that we admire. Then I found the quote that's on the description. So now you know where it all came from.
